About Evan

Evan Hargett began working at Rogers, Bowling & McReynolds as a law clerk in May 2015 . In 2020, he returned to the firm as an attorney specializing in a wide array of legal fields.

BACKGROUND

Evan is a native of Franklin County, Alabama. He is married to the former Lacey Oliver of Franklin County, Alabama. Evan and Lacey recently had their first daughter. The Hargetts make their home in Russellville, Alabama and are active members of South Side Baptist Church.

When he is not working, Evan enjoys following Auburn athletics, being outdoors, and traveling with his family.

Notable Cases

Evan is currently working as co-counsel in multiple civil cases involving illegal gambling where companies offer virtual slot machines through common smartphone applications. Those cases are attempting to recover lost wagers for the benefit of the wives and children of the gambler(s).

Evan is currently working as co-counsel on cases involving the sale of personal identifying information by HBO Max to third party companies.

​

Evan is currently working as co-counsel on cases involving TurboTax wherein TurboTax is believed to have taken hidden fees from those users of their services.

Education

Evan is an Auburn University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During college, Evan was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity.

After completing his undergraduate education, Evan attended Cumberland School of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree in May of 2020.
